[revelations][beyond the veil] Anachron is my alt [WOW][SURREAL ESTATE]
I've been trolling for years now about how strong the real estate industry and preaching fundamentals....that aren't fundamentally tied to the current economic environment at all....that are just carry overs from past metrics. As we all know, past performance does not guarantee future results...as anyone who has modeled trading strategies on historical data will tell you. Market movements have causal effects meaning they're non-linear blah blah blah I know misc ceos know this.
Anyways, it has been fun but now the fed has completely ended Quantitative Easing. Some of you heeded my assertion that this would cause a shift in the market, to the great detriment of the main beneficiary of QE, real estate. Its an obvious mechanism of action and effect, and was greatly outlined by the fed and blackrock. They've directly stated that the RE market will collapse without QE, and intend for it to occur.
I know you will still debate this, even though the whole of upper tier investment banking and the FED have both stated what is obvious all along. I just think its time I retire my anachron alt before it does anymore damage.

stay out of real estate funds, avoid asset purchases
I know, I know...its the apocalypse and all and the only point of real wealth are assets....but that doesn't mean they're valued correctly.
I can't think of any scenario where shorting works out for retail investors unless they get lucky and fly under the radar, so I would never recommend that in any scenario.
RE has been a panic market since 2020, and it was completely engulfed in the flames of the fed's corruption when they dumped 1.3T into it.
edit: hell, don't take my word for it. Here's an article outlining EXACTLY what I've been saying for a year and a half.

I'm one of the biological clones of Anachron.

See the resemblance?

So what’s your prediction? Do we see 8 percent mortgage rates and how large of a drop in real estate do you think will happen?
Yield curve inverted and most banks have predicted a strong chance of recession in 2023. Consumer is going to get hit for sure.
What are you personally doing with your money ? Are you still mostly in equities or moved to cash to wait out uncertainty?
QUOTE=rectifryer;1659360083]market forces will just see large short pressure and hold until it resolves
