Heard about something on it, but it was in passing while scrolling the internet. Thanks for the thread. I'll be keeping an eye on this, hopefully our overlords won't use this to push covid measures again.

Aware, but I know everyone is sick of covid/vax news.

I made a thread about the reports that they were taking small children [as young as nursing babies] away from their families and putting them into separate quarantine centers even if the parents also tested positive for the virus.

One theory was that China is shutting down their factories as a way to sanction the west over Russia without declaring anything.

Or that the leadership has just committed so hard to zero covid that they can't admit that it is impossible to eradicate the virus at this point.

It would be nice if several alphabet agencies would declare it endemic already since it is.

I wasn't aware things were so dire in China, especially Shanghai. Seems quite concerning, but I am also taking anything like this coming out of China with a grain of salt. There are big plays being made on the world stage and we won't know exactly what is happening until the dust settles.

It's funny the media lets everyone know months in advance what will happen but no one cares. Food shortages have been talked about for a long time but I bet people still have no emergency food storage.

Just went to target and saw several freezer sections completely empty. Had to go to another store to complete my grocery list.
