Late night dinner/10

There were so many awesome dinner threads today and it made me hungry. I made a sirloin, topped with blue cheese. (no blue cheese hate please.) Sides baby yellow potatoes and a turnip mash.

Not the prettiest pic but it's delicious...

Good night.

Once again, would bury my face in there and not come up for air.

Would pass on the meal though.

It's there hiding. I'm kinda pissed though...bought the Marie's chunky blue cheese but I didn't see any chunks, and the dressing seemed thin?!

Judging by the pic, I would have honestly guessed it is about 4 ounces (cooked). Looks small.

I'm not necessarily a blue cheese hater. I don't mind it with chicken wings, and certain salads. But on my steak? No thanks.

Nope that's my meal. Older female, not that big and also cutting. I'm sure you get to eat a hell of a lot more.

Oh didn't know you're a woman. I'm weirdly cutting on 1600 calories and somehow gaining muscle. Probably because I lost an insane amount of mass when I was working on the road not working out and then had COVID and lost 15 pounds in just 2 weeks. Body is super weird. My mind is blown that I'm gaining mass with such a large calorie restriction. (Ded fkn Srs)

I seared for 3 min in a cast iron skillet with butter on high heat. Threw in a baking dish and cooked in the oven on 300 for 22 min.

Yeah. My Mother is in her 70s, very small and only seems to eat around 1200 cals per day, if that.

I would eat 1.5x that amount of veg and 4x that amount of steak. The food looks great, I would just need way more than that!

Funny enough, I also had sirloin and potatoes for dinner

Looks good. My wife would go nuts for that blue cheese.

LOL no. Maybe it's the angle from the way I took the pic. I cut in in half so you could see how the inside was cooked. It really was a 6 oz steak, 2 servings of potatoes and 2.5 servings of turnip.

Really not a small portion meal like everyone thinks...
