Football coach in trouble after stating "women are more emotional than men"

- On a night when Northern Ireland Women hosted England in front of a record crowd, the focus quickly switched from events on the field to post-match comments from home manager Kenny Shiels

- His remarks drew criticism from many women including former England female player Siobhan Chamberlain

- The comments that caused outrage: "I felt England were struggling at times to open us up until the psychology of going 2-0 up in the women's game. I'm sure you will have noticed if you go through the patterns - when a team concedes a goal, they concede a second one in a very, very short space of time. It happens right through the whole spectrum of the women's game, because girls and women are more emotional than men. So, they take a goal going in not very well"

- Women have slammed his comments and have demanded he's sacked

It's not really that women are moreemotionalthan men, it's that they have more difficulty immediately regulating their emotional output. Lots of women are reactive, they aren't mindful. Most people are anyways. Female emotions come out in different ways as well.

Actually, come to think of it, most people are absolute dogschit at regulating emotions.
