I've seen some 4-500lb'ers (Black bears) before. Many smaller ones in the few hundred pound range but they never bothered me. I always get concerned when i see cubs and no mother...i get the fuk out of there quick.

That may be worse than the video someone posted here years back where some guys were diving off a building out over a concrete pier into the water, and one of the guys came up short. His face/head was spit in half.
The pictures from the ER were insane. Not sure how he ever turned out though.

When I was younger I remember seeing a similar one of a guy whose entire bottom half of his face was ripped off on this gore site. Disturbed the chit outta me.

Always travel in groups and make sure someone in that group is fatter and slower.
