I watched space ghost as a child.
i got a kick out of him and the big headed hairy dude hosting cartoons.

my buddies and I used to hang out and watch toonami on saturday nights? waiting for headbangers ball to come on.
i think we watched robot chicken then up all night with rhonda sheer and gilbert godfrey.

yeah we were party animals.

gotta say those were some good times just hanging with friends.
still have them.

I remember space ghost doing the hosting at night but i can't remember what else we watched so you are probably right.
he also talked chit to his co-hosts. cracked us up.

google tells me it was a separate show in the mid 90's which is probably when i watched it.
damn that was a long time ago. lol.

powder puff girls were on toonami. i used to watch that also with some friends and samurai jack.

for nostalgia purposes.

our ads were always very chill ambiance type clips. forgot to mention tenchi muyo & batman beyond

DBZ was goat childhood show in terms of treating its audience like an adult , and instilling great values. Goku might be best fictional example of true masculine hero tbh

- brb most kids shows are one off every episode. DBZ ran a linear story
- brb people actually age. You grow up with Gohan FFS
- brb most bad guys aren’t black and white. Sure Frieza and Cell are, but most go on long arcs to slowly become good (piccolo, Vegeta, androids)

- brb power of breaking limits
- brb absolute goat fight scenes
