China flexing near Taiwan

China holds military drills around Taiwan as U.S. delegation visits

China’s military sent frigates, bombers and fighter planes to the East China Sea and the area around Taiwan on Friday, People’s Liberation
Army Eastern Theater Command spokesman Shi Yilu said, according to China’s state broadcaster.

The People’s Liberation Army said the move was intended to target the “wrong signals” sent by the United States.

China is weak as fck, if sh*t gets real they will be cucked immediately.

Imagine Invading Taiwan. Taiwan will send one missile to this chinese construction:

Game over for 500 million chinese

Or

just block the shipping lines. They import most of their oil and food.

China has too many tactical weak points, they will never be a real challenge for the west. Even Russia is stronger.

Another fun fact, China is a demographic timebomb. Much worse than any country in the west because of their retarded 1 child policy.

The punishing embarrassment that Russia's getting at the hands of Ukraine should be a warning to China not to do it. They've confirmed lost 500 tanks in 50 days in Ukraine for one example of many, with endless vids of masses of destroyed RU men and armor/vehicles/equipment ripped to shreds.

Taiwan has some special presents waiting for China if they try it.

We never should have ended the embargo against the dirt poor Communist Party of China. It was the worst decision in 20th century US history.

Lol'd. Just block the shipping lines? Do you think a couple of US ships and whatever they have on board is going to somehow challenge China, literally near it's landmass? Wat?

As for China flexing it's muscles, wouldn't call it that at all considering US is literally there at their doorstep trying to flex their muscles at their front porch. You gotta have the nerve to come all the way there from the US and bait them with this whole Taiwan thing. It's a big, risky move, feels kind of desperate from the US, making so many enemies at the same time.

Thanks for confirming you know nothing.

My dear friend where does China's oil and food come from? Answer: middle east and europe. These shipping lines pass a bunch of countries that literally hate China, hell US needs to do nothing even India is enough to fck them.

"Military drills", are we really about to fall for that again.

This

I predicted Russia would invade Ukraine and i was proven right. I also predicted once Biden” won” that China would invade Taiwan.

Biden is a sorry excuse for a leader.

I doubt China is going to make a move for at least 10 years. The West has shown considerable resolve in the face of Russian aggression and sanctions, the bare minimum consequence of invading Taiwan, are bad for business. A hot war with the US, could easily leave the Chinese navy at the bottom of the ocean. Worst case, nuclear holocaust.

Invading Taiwan is considerably more risky than Russia's invasion of Ukraine and I get the impression that the Chinese think Putin was reckless and overconfident.

Just as importantly, time is on China's side. Right now the US navy is the ultimate maritime military authority. It won't be in 20 years time.

^This. China has the West by the balls through the supply chain. Look around. Almost everything is made in China. Just imagine the entitled Karens, etc. They will throw a fit and start riots if they don't get their latest iPhone fix on time.

China meets banks to discussprotecting assets from US sanctions

Officials concerned that measures taken against Moscow could also be applied to Beijing

If China attacks Taiwan, decoupling of the Chinese and western economies will be far more severe than [decoupling with] Russia because China’s economic footprint touches every part of the world,” said one of the people briefed on the meeting.

Going after Taiwan's "crown jewel" TSM...

Top Economist Urges China to Seize TSMC If US Ramps Up Sanctions

A senior Chinese economist at a government-run research group called on authorities toseize Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. if the US hits China with sanctions on par with those leveled against Russia.

“If the US and the West impose destructive sanctions on China like sanctions against Russia, we must recover Taiwan,” said Chen Wenling, chief economist at the China Center for International Economic Exchanges. The research group is overseen by the National Development and Reform Commission, China’s top economic planning agency.

“Especially in the reconstruction of the industrial chain and supply chain, we must seize TSMC,” Chen said in a speech last month hosted by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University, which was posted online Tuesday by the nationalistic news website Guancha.

“They are speeding up the transfer to the US to build six factories there,” she added. “We must not let all the goals of the transfer be achieved.”

Jolted by the Ukraine war and China’s aggression,Japan looks to boost its defense capability

Japan “will not rule out any options, including so-called ‘counterstrike capabilities,’ and will realistically consider what is necessary to protect the lives and livelihoods of our people,” Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.

"The threat of China is brought close to home because of Taiwan’s proximity to Japan, a key aide to Kishida told CNBC on the sidelines of the Shangri-La security summit last week.

Taiwan is only about 67 miles away from the Japanese island of Yonaguni Jima, which is about the distance between London and Dover, said Koichiro Matsumoto, deputy cabinet secretary in the Japanese prime minister’s office.

“Since we are so close to Taiwan, the security of the Taiwan Strait is our concern as well,” Matsumoto said, adding that there is growing military disparity between China and Taiwan.

“We have to bear in mind that the overall military balance between China and Taiwan is tilting ... in favor of the Chinese mainland PRC, and the gap seems to be growing year by year,” he said, referring to the People Republic of China by its acronym."

Capturing TSMC, their patents, their engineers, scientists etc would be 1,000 times bigger than the US capturing all the Nazi scientists, technology, patents, etc after WW2.
