Yea this. In war, you are either logistics or frontline soldier. And you have to volunteer for that. Cannot be forced, like what Zelensky is doing where he is arming 70 year old grandmas.

But fuuuuuuaark. Saving Ryan's Privates is one of my favorite war movies. The begginng where NATO is getting gunned down on the beach was just a work of art. It wouldve have been 10x worst had they stormed the Japanese beaches, which is why they(NATO, currently the modern day AXIS) resorted to nuking Japanese civilians.
