How to get up early in the morning?
SRS. Has anyone experienced this. Hard to get to sleep at night, sometimes I'll wake up at 4am or so but have little rest. If I stay up I'll get sleepy as the sun rises. Sun rising always makes my eyes heavy. If I do go back to sleep I don't wake up until about 8--9am. Trying to get up it's like I just can't function at all, almost feel sick. Making me late to work. Extremely frustrating when I do this, but I feel nauseous. Now, when I wake up 8-9am, I am instantly awake and hit the ground running. Srs my sleep issues are messing up my entire life.
Sometimes I think I have the feelings of anxiety and my mind is shutting down because I don't want to deal with the day but I'm not sure. I know, I should just snap out of it, but snapping out of it is harder than it seems. Hoping maybe someone else can relate.
Pls halp Misk.....

Find something you truly enjoy, something you can do only in the early morning.
Try to burn yourself out during the day, so your body makes you want to go to bed earlier.
That's what I've been doing, and finally it just has started to work.

I'm 32 years old and waking up early is the hardest thing for me.
It's something I want to conquer one day.

Something that helps with sleeping early is allowing the insulin surge from eating dinner to put you to sleep
Whenever you eat a full meal, your body releases a surge of insulin to help digestion and balance your blood sugar
This is why you feel tired after eating, getting laid after dinner will also help you sleep, especially if you had a drink
Saying this, I woke up a bit before sundown today and will be working through the night, which is a nice change of pace

My sleep is fkd but I’ve ran on 4-5 hours for years. I wake at 5-5:30 and on the road by 5:45 or 6:00. Didn’t go to sleep until 2:30 this AM.
Just a night owl thing OP. Suck it up and power through it or go to bed earlier are really the only two options. Once you exhaust yourself and fall asleep at say 9pm, you’ll feel tired the next day at the same time. Keep that habit and you’ll feel awake by 5:00am easy.

Honestly, when I do manage to get up really early it's amazing. Just almost impossible to do.
Ive tried sleep aids and they either work too good or not well enough but either way I feel groggy for the next day.
