Who has had an MRI?
They make it sound so easy
Thing is so loud and I barely fit
Almost puked when they injected some contrast too
God bless I’m not claustrophobic but I get why some people would panic
Also rip chest hair

I've had a couple. I'm a bit claustrophobic so it was a bit nerve wrecking, but I pushed through.

Had it done on my knee once. Lucky only my lower half was in otherwise I'd have felt claustrophobic as well. Felt queasy for a bit after also.

I have to get a 2 hour MRI every year because of a medical condition I had in the past.
It's my least favorite 2 hours of the year. Literally have to lay still with no entertainment and just try to doze off. Sometimes it's better than others, but essentually it's a mild form of torture that I have to pay $1000 for. And if you move even a little bit it fuks the results.
I've had a knee one that wasn't bad. But ones where you go head first into the machine are the worst.

Had several and I always fall asleep, the nice background noise and confined area with headphones on is so peaceful.
Now then they needed to guide a 8" needle into my hip socket via xray machine that was miserable...plus I was pantless and fully revealed. It was damn cold.

Horrible-even at 9 stone something it was so tight in there. Worst part was after it finished there is nobody telling you not to worry, they just leave you in there & I thought they had gone for breakfast or something.

had a few, just loud more than anything
the annoying this is i had to wait an extra month to schedule an x-ray (i occasionally weld and grind metal for my dads projects like building a snow blower for the tractor or whatever) and there's always a risk of a metal shaving or dust being ripped through my eyes lol

Had a couple due to bleeding lungs. I'm not claustrophobic so it wasn't bad. It was always crazy to me how the contrast dye gives you that flood of warmth that they warn you that it feels like you will be pissing your pants even though you aren't. I think I still remember clenching as a reaction just to make sure.
"When my opponent contracts, I expand. And when he expands, I contract.
And when the opportunity arrives, *looks at clenched fist* I do not hit with it. It hits all by itself"-Bruce Lee

I've had more than a lot of people. I'm a little claustrophobic. I used to get a benzo prescription just to do the MRI, but I realized requesting that they put a fan blowing inside the machine really helps a ton.

I can't stand them either, mostly because sitting still and flat on that hard table that long kills my lower back...

Not generally claustrophobic but they didn't tell me in advance how long it would take.
So I'm laying there surrounded by weird loud noises, unable to hear the practitioners on the outside.
Feels like an hour has gone by
I start thinking maybe they forgot I'm in there
Thoughts devolve into thinking what if there was a sudden zombie outbreak and they're all dead. And the zombies know I'm in there and I can't escape, they'll eat me from my feet upwards
Pissening experience

I've had one on my brain and one on my back. They suck mostly because you have to stay still in a confined space. They gave me earplugs so the noise didn't bother me that much
