Last night I got drunk at a random bar I hadn't ever been to and a petite 3-4/10 hispanic girl sat next to me. Great personality, very extrovertish. I walked her to her car, and we basically made out in her car lol. I stopped it there though, didn't wanna smash because I thought she was looking for a relationship or something... turns out I was wrong lol woke up, texted her, and she confirmed she's "not actively looking for a relationship". Phark. Next time I got to sieze the moment. No pics cuz I'm not OP, but also I would have to screenshot her stories, and she'd know I screenshotted lol.

Anyways, you bet I can agree that I woke up negative minded on this subject after drinking last night lol. Phark.

That's one of the reasons why I stopped drinking 4 months ago. I feel so much better, more clarity, more consistent positive outlook & mood. Less calories, less spending, better health, skin, teeth. I thought I would miss drinking socially but I don't. I can still go out and have a good time. Alcohol is one of the biggest lies sold to mankind. People grow up believing they have to drink poison to have a good time.

It’s one of the main reasons I’ve stopped drinking almost completely. This month I decided to buy a 6 pack of some high ABV% beer one night and only drank 1.5 of them and stopped because I just started feeling like chit.

It’s weird how I’ll crave it sometimes and then be completely turned off by it once I start after not drinking for a while. When I used to drink most nights I never felt that way. The next day was always chit tier perspective though.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

i took a week off before easter. Than drank easter, monday, tuesday. Off since then. Still don't feel great, but I think I will if I can stay away for like a month. I think drinking so much has contributed majorly to depression and anxiety and laziness.

only problem is i want to go and meet sloots and be extraverted.

I've realized in the past few months that alcohol makes me anxious as fk for a day or two after. Kinda on edge and constantly biting my fingernails, no bueno.

Pretty sure booze downregulates GABA in your brain so your emotions are all out of whack the next day. On the extremely rare occasion I'll get really drunk the night before and wake up with a solid hangover, I find myself really emotional. All my emotions are amplified. I'll get teary-eyed at almost nothing and I'm also oddly incredibly horny.

I have noticed the horniness on some occasions. But I think in the long run it has a negative affect on sexors drive

It's kind of an emotional amplifier for me. When I'm happy, booze makes me more happy. When I'm sad, booze pushes me towards the edge.

Last 3 or 4 times I've been out drinking, it's basically been social rejection and bad feels. Like on Tuesday, I was supposed to meet up with 5 people for a bar trivia night. Literally 4 of them flaked with no notice. So I just sat there alone and looked for other singles to team up with. Literally no one.... everyone was either there with a date or in a big team. Then I look for single sloots to hit on. Literally none. 50-some people in this bar and I'm the only one there alone. Maximum alone in a crowd feeling activated.

Then the alcohol turns on my inner sloot brain and the catastrophizing starts. "Your FA will never change." "These trivia guys don't want to be around you, they would have showed up if they actually wanted to see you", etc. So I sat there basically stewing like that for an hour, then went for an hour of aimless night driving afterwards, basically just hating myself and considering sui.

I'm kind of in a catch-22 where I need to keep going out and drinking to try and meet friends/sloots, but it never happens, and I just end up feeling like chit at the end of every night I do it. But if I sit at home alone in the rot pad, nothing ever changes either. So I keep going out trying again, drinking more, failing more, and hating myself. Rinse and repeat. Going to trivia night again this Tuesday, tiki bar on Wednesday, dive bar karaoke night on Friday.

I had two Negra Modelos last night. Woke up at 4:30am to hit the gym and am now working.

I feel like social drinking and only having like 1-2 beers that you sip is the GOAT. But I know how it is when there is a great vibe and someone says “wanna take a shot?”
