Sneaker Recommendations
I recently got a job as a Sterile Processing Tech & it has you on your feet almost 90% of the shift - good shoes are important here.
Any of your MISCers have any recommendations for men's sneakers that would be good for 8 hour walking/standing periods?
Budget is up to $100 as they'll eventually get dirty, so only looking to wear them while at work.
Thanks!

It depends on your foot shape too. For boots, thursday boots I can wear all day no problems. I wear those in the winter. For sneakers I've tried different brooks shoes, the oncloud shoes, different nikes, and more. They were all great for periods of time, but then all came with issues down the road whether it was ripping, too cushiony, etc.
The one shoe I am wearing now and the company I use for my shoes outside of work as well is York Athletics. I wear the frank trainers every day in a warehouse setting and these things are oddly invincible. Idk how they haven't ripped. They have given me zero issues and they get more comfortable the more I wear them and I've had them for a year. They're a small business company so the shoes are made very well.
I've seen all my other coworkers try every shoe pretty much. From the ghost brooks to the Hoka's, to the oncloud different shoes, to these special type shoes for walking that have orthotics. Nothing really works after a while. But for some reason these York Athletic shoes once you break them (I leave them tied looser so I can slip in and out of them without tying pretty easily) are by far the best shoes I've ever owned
