Hunters/fishers outdoorsmen etc I need input

I just picked up 12,000 acres in a badlands basin, no pics from me just yet but I assure you it’s unlike anything you’ve ever encountered. It’s 18 miles off the nearest paved road with only a two track trail getting to it via the only entrance point as it’s naturally Barrier’d off by badlands walls. Needless to say it’s pretty remote. Since it’s so remote setting up a full time ranch there would be hard since it’s so far removed from electricity.

What I plan on doing is building one main log house cabin set up with solar panels, wind turbine, and back up propane generator with 4-5 cabins scattered all through the acreage for hunters/guests. I will be running cattle on an even 3 month rotation on 4 different 3,000 acre parcels which will allow me to corn various wild life year round (mule deer, white tail deer, antelope, grouse, etc).

Despite its arid appearance it has a lot of fresh springs that can be developed into fishing dams that will be stocked with as many native non moving water fish as I can as well as set up for duck and goose hunting. This obviously will be a large task and I’m going to do all the work myself do I would appreciate any input from like minded individuals. Reps for helpful posts.

2. None, I’m a tribal member and the land resides within my reservation.
3. Natural springs and 120 ft deep water table. Spring water out of badlands is GOAT.
4. Not entirely necessary most of the year but def not a bad idea.

Any particular reason why? The wind blows here pretty constantly so I figured a small turbine wouldn’t be a bad idea but I have no experience with them.

Is it a practical location for people to do day trips?

Easy entry point to meet a guide, then he takes them to their site for the day.

Yeah I’ve driven 100+ miles with my brother at 3am to get to a blind setup on peoples private land get driven in, guide shoots with us gets a fat tip and leave in the afternoon.

Just someone locally who knows the owners and manages people who want to shoot for him and make some cash.

Or places like this bring in a lot of good business

Talking to some of the fishing guides, they have high end clients that will go with them wherever (hunting also) esp somewhere new if the guide finds a spot that will pay him to manage hunts/fishing trips.

I pulled these off the badlands national park website, they’re the closest as to what my acreage looks like. I’m about a half hour or so drive from where these pics were taken.

Not just yet but that is ultimately the plan. The ranch is 20,000 acres without the newest acquisition but not much of that is badlands more rolling prairie with lots of trees but I figure between the 2 places I can accommodate a lot of hunters/fishers nearly year round.
