He Was 5'7". After Surgery, He’ll Be 5'10".

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article...ldqpgc#4ldqpgc

Looks like Buzzfeed found that one miscer and here are the updates, I didn't even know buzzfeed was alive.

"Scott is among the men who, frustrated by how they’re treated because of their height, sought out a surgeon who could permanently lengthen his legs. Before the $75,000 procedure he had in January, he was about 5'7". By the time he’s done lengthening, a weekslong process after the surgery, he will be 5'10" — about an inch taller than the average American man."

"But height is another matter. There are fillers for jawlines and there is Botox for foreheads, but height — a major source of anxiety for men — seems unsolvable. The struggles for short men in the dating world are well documented. To improve their odds of matching with people, men have taken to lying about their height on dating apps."

"Scott, who is 25 and works in digital media, said that before the surgery, colleagues constantly made remarks about his stature. “I was not treated with respect,” Scott told me."

LMAO

Then he had a revelation: “When I realized what was really holding me back was the obstacle of money, I was like, ‘Oh, it’s just a game. If I can get $75,000, then I’m done feeling like this.’”

The goal gave him clarity. “I was not waking up andcrying every day in my mask, walking around the neighborhood. Instead, it became ‘OK, I just have to get on my grind and figure out how to get the money.’”

Real 5'7", or e-stat 5'7"?

People who are 5'4" say they are 5'7" or 5'8. People who are 5'7" say they are 5'10" People who are 5'10" say they are 6 feet (lol).

Which makes any talk about height online impossible. If you are a real 5'7", and you say you are 5'7" to someone online, there is a good chance they are going to visualize you as 5'4".

A legit 5'7" isn't short enough that you are going to be called a smurf like the article seems to indicate. You won't be taller than any other men, but you also won't be that much shorter than most. Average height in the US and Canada is somewhere around 5'8"-5'10" depending on what sources you believe. At 5'7", you will be as tall or taller than almost every woman you meet. The average woman is something like 5'4".

5'7" vs 5'10" is not a big enough difference to have a positive effect worthy of 75k and possible ramifications from having your shins reconstructed. It sucks that physically everybody isn't made equal, but that's part of life. You have to learn to accept and work with what you have. This won't fix this guys problem, he'll focus his insecurity on something else about himself. Or, he will realize that his professional and personal issues had little to do with his height. But instead of working on himself he will get a nose job, because it must be the nose, not his personality or the way he handles himself.

If he had a decent face and a charismatic personality, he would not have a problem at 5'7" unless the girl was a lot taller than him. His problem is he's an insecure ****g‏‏‎ot.

jokes on him, 5'10 is still king of manlets.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

that is a brutal surgery and not really worth the recovery and cost. there are so many other surgeries out there that would be better use of the money.

Just today I was at a get together and some guy was lying about being 5'9 when he was clearly like 5'7 with shoes. So I walked into the middle of the conversation and told him that there's no way he's 5'9 seeing as how I'm 5'11, (I'm actually 6'2) and I was nearly 8 inches taller than he was. Gotta keep these manlets in their place.

Anyways, this guy in the OP has permanently damaged his body, and spent $75k plus all the pain and suffering, to still be a manlet at the end of it all. I don't get the point.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
