Roe v wade may have just been overturned

Oops

PDF opinion

https://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000...c-c74f98520000

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.

The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.

Pretty much republicans bad they don’t respect womens rights. They just need to emotionally appeal to their bloc because that’s what they vote on.

Tru.

I expect Rs to do very well but this thing is only going to get closer as the election approaches.

They work for the same team as the dems though so I wouldn't even get excited with a blowout.

I respect the conservatives sticking to their morals but have you seen pro choice protests?

I think those lib women make a good argument for why they shouldn't reproduce, for the greater good.

A majority of Americans, including Independents (>60% in most polls) do not want it overturned. If overturned it will help Dems considerably in November. And it’ll help them even more in a few decades when their voter base expands.

Your run of the mill democrat isn’t worthless, they’re simply contributing members to a terrorize organization that is actively attempting to bring down American, far worse than worthless.

You really think they care about red states banning abortions more than they do all the things Dems do that are materially making their day to day lives worse? I honestly don't think most people care about things that don't impact their lives, being able to abort is at the bottom of the list of issues for most decent people.

Trump gained 10 million votes despite open hostility towards everything liberals love, I think Rs will be fine if they were already on track to win in November.

Lol at some of the cuck responds ITT

American conservatives have been getting absolutely obliterated on every social/domestic issue for decades. Some finally grow a backbone and decide to fight back, and R/P cucksrvatives be like "nooo don't do that, fighting back will only energize Dems! Let them continue to win the long game like usual!"

That's the real problem.

People like you think that you are above the other side lol.

The republicans are playing their voters the same way the dems play theirs. The Rs are not going to save you lol. The whole point of the R's allowing Biden to fraud a victory was to increase their own power at the expense of R voters and the American people, the R are projected to wreck the dems in the midterms and they are expected to win the presidency no matter WHO they nominate.

Getting rid of Trump was the best thing the R's ever did for themselves.

Neither side wants to completely destroy the other.

They need each other to play folks like you lol.

I'd rather them spend their time striking down every single gun control law instead of worrying about selfish sloots who will literally murder a child to stop from being slightly inconvenienced

I think they just don't want the Dems to get any life lines this November since the forecast calls for a Republican sweep.

Thankfully only deranged liberals think the issues they champion like killing babies and corrupting children are priorities for everyone else, in good times maybe but I'd like to see the person who was going to vote Republican due to economy/inflation, crime, border security, parental rights etc. but changed their vote because women they don't know can't abort after 15 weeks anymore.

I never said R was the answer, I said democrats are the largest and most active enemy of the United States of America, and I’m not wrong there. On topic I don’t really care, I’m all about states rights to govern themselves, the federal govt is so bloated it’s not even funny.

Who cares if it's a lifeline? The trajectory is clear, and the left is winning the long game big time. Stalling for another few months won't matter in the grand scheme of things. Overturn Roe, it's the correct decision.

john L want R's to grow a backbone and fight but when we had a R who did just that, john L said he was too hard lol.

L, just like the establishment R's wanted Biden to win because Trump was unfit or some similar bullsht.

Now he's over here acting like R's need to do something about Biden/dems lol.

it's a decision that could wait a few months

I don't even see abortion being brought up here often amongst the discourse, it's not something the right is clamoring for to happen right away like protecting free speech, self defense, the border, being tough on crime, pushing back against degeneracy etc. if this is the only victory the right gets it'll be pretty disappointing (and short lived since the next generation of red state liberals won't be grateful the right spared some of them from being aborted)

You realize there's an effective and ineffective way of fighting back, right?

Winning elections and appointing conservative justices nationwide who then in turn make decisions like this one = effective

Tweeting out typo filled incoherent tweets that alienate lots of the fence sitting cucks who you unfortunately need on your side to win elections = ineffective

This is the one that will energize the dems the most, the need to make this election closer.

Not a night Igrham fan one way or the other….

But she’s making an excellent commentary tonight on just how devastating and big it is this leaked- and how bad of a breach it is- how big a story the leak itself is - she’s used to be a scotus law clerk

Worth a watch later even if you’re a lib

Pathetic. Leaking just shows how despicable Dems really are and how absolutely low they will stoop to remain in power.

That said I'm "to the right" and am 100% in favor of abortion. The less unwanted and poorly parented children the less future Democrat voters.

Fatherless children = future Democrats
