What is the purpose of an automatic Corvette?? that REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS!!!!!!!!!!!

factor in it being a convertible and it's seriously the epitome of tits on a bull. I miss my badass rebuilt C4 6 speed, but most of the people that own these fukin cars are OLD MEN that have them as a garaged "toy" and I don't see what's so exciting about it? Their everyday car is probably some stupid minivan, or a brand new silverado, and you take out your convertible automatic BASE corvette, which is VERY LIKELY to be unmodified, and you take that stupid car on the weekend, drive nice and slow everywhere you go, and I'm thinking, what's the point? it's like having electric windows on a submarine, or a glass hammer, or decaf coffee, or a printer with no ink, or lipstick on a pig, or a woman who can't cook, or a snowplow in florida, or what have you
I went to a corvette car show last year and I thought what the ****. it's mostly all old men in their stock automatic convertible corvettes. maybe throw on some CHROME ENGINE COVERS

My uncle has an automatic c7 GS and is president of a corvette club lol. I approve though because they actually haul ass vs putting around. One chick in the club even tracks hers. Pretty legit.

For 99% of drivers (including OP) an automatic will be faster than a stick in virtually any situation.

Dual Clutch is worth it if you track your car or do drag racing, otherwise it's not worth losing the fun of a manual transmission car.
If people were smart, they'd buy 3 to 10 brand new Caddilac CT5-V Blackwings with manual transmisisons instead of a house.
Those will be worth millions of dollars each with inflation in a few decades.
