I'm STILL using the iPhone 6s Plus in 2022

Bought it in 2016. Last of the iPhones that had a headphone jack. It has a big 5.5" LCD display that is actually a full HD 1080P panel. The battery STILL lasts me all day despite being at 82% capacity (I'm on my 3rd battery since new).

Other features:

-Has 3D touch which is the absolute GOAT. Even modern phones don't have this feature.
-Has a clickable home button with 2nd generation Touch ID
-Is water resistant just like modern phones except Apple just didn't advertise it
-Rear camera can shoot 4K video
-Still supported by Apple and runs perfectly smooth on IOS 15
-A9 processor can still handle anything I throw at it
-The LCD panel is actually a boss and was built for durability. LCD panels can last for decades.

The is seriously the best pound for pound phone ever made. Just LOL @ all the ****g0ts that have been upgrading since 2015. There is literally ZERO reason even today to upgrade from the 6s and especially from the 6s Plus.

That's impressive that it's still running fine 6 years later considering it's essentially a computer that is being used all day every day. I'm using an iPhone XR and occasionally i think maybe it's time for a 13 but theres really no point. Maybe i'll get a Tesla phone when it comes out down the road.

I used my 5s up until about a month ago when I was forced to upgrade due to 3G support ending. Would have kept using it otherwise.

miss them having physical home buttons.

like fuk it only had 5 buttons on the whole damn thing and you got to get rid of the most used one and then have the fuking nerve to call it a "feature"

i got a pixel 4a now. then an iphone for work, idk what version i think xr, whatever they gave me. when i read through phone reviews they always cry about stupid chit like complaining about iphone not having a punch out hole for the camera. who gives a fuk that isnt important.

How am I missing out? I messed around with an iPhone 13 at Best Buy and it was nice I guess but I didn’t see a reason to upgrade.

And I’m talking about the 6s not the 6. The 6s was a monumental improvement over the 6.

Yea I that in the + version. Lasted 2 years. I'm on a $180 phone with zero issues over 3 years of use. My longest lasting phone ever.

Was using the 5s up until November 2021. Got the iphone 12 for a birthday gift for myself. Can never go back to that small screen.

I still have my old phone and it looks like a toy in comparison. Sure it does all the same stuff, but if you use your phone for anything other than text/calls it's horrible.

I use mine for the internet all the time. Honestly thinking about getting the 13 pro max because screen maxxing is where it's at. Your eyes will thank you for upgrading.

Yeah even the regular 6s holds up just fine.

The 6s and 6s Plus were pound for pound the best phones ever made.

I just got an s22 ultra, and my flight was delayed on Fri. I just put on Netflix on my phone and got a beer. The chick next to me was using what looked like an I-phone 6. She kept looking over at my phone. She had a ring on so I just kept my headphones on.

get a new phone dude

There is no reason to. I went to Best Buy and tried out the 13 pro. It was no doubt nicer and faster, but my 6s Plus does everything I want it to and keeps me happy.

The screen is 1080p display which is full HD. So I can watch full HD videos and plug my headphones into the headphone jack and never have to worry about headphone batteries dying. Can’t do that on any modern phones.

Also the software is the same on both phones so the software experience is the same.

Idk just no reason to upgrade. The 6s Plus is seriously that good.

the screen area on my phone is 50% larger than yours

Granted I'm using mine for business. It makes a huge difference. The thing is lightning quick.

My daughter has the 13 pro and it's comparable to my phone, the 6 isn't I'm pretty sure that's what my son has, maybe it's an 8 though.
