How/when did liberals become the new “biblethumpers”
I put bible thumper in quotations because obviously todays liberals have nothing to do with the bible.
It used to be that the conservatives were the ones trying to ban video games and music, censor language, prevent people from going to certain movies, and other anti common sense bull****…
Today, however, its the conservatives that are the ones preaching (mostly) common sense, and the liberals are thumping their own version of the bible.
When the fuk exactly did that happen? Inb4 2012

I thought it was those idiotic cult-like christian conservative morons that would fit in this category. Of course, in today's world, things are so skewed and exaggerated that what was once considered a "conservative" is probably super liberal in the eyes of the extreme-minded, tribal lunatics.

It's strange man. It's hard to even really conceptualize, but it's like how people say the left has gone so far left that if you used to be a moderate, you're now far right? Something like that.
But you have to also look at the specifics in what they were calling to ban:
- Offensive language rap/rock music
- violent video games
- riske films
Things that were being targeted towards children. They were trying to protect the youth. That's how they got the game rating (rated M for mature) and that label they put on CDs (explicit content)
The left doesn't care about those things, but they do want your children for other purposes
