This.

Many mothers would simply feed their child cows milk from the grocery store, but its not sufficient enough for a growing baby and its also too harsh on their GI tract.

Then you have the issue with women of today all being on anti-depressant/anxiety drugs which seeps into their breast milk so the baby can't even drink their own mothers milk without risk of being contaminated by zoloft/*****/lexapro byproducts.

Mothers would give/sell their breast milk to other mothers in need, communities were stronger... formula is just about the worst chit you can give a baby.

Don't trust google on this horse**** like "so many died before baby formula." They say the same thing about teenagers dying from pregnancy. It's all complete bull****.

If they couldn't produce enough milk or the child would not latch on, most would use goat milk. Understand most people had farm animals, or local farms to get what they needed. Goats milk is extremely close to humans milk, doesn't have lactose, and is high in fat.

Women shared breast milk or they hired a wet nurse. Children used to die more from preventable disease and injury but not due to lack of breast milk.

My sister, for example, pumped extra to donate to a charity. No pics of sister so neg if you want.

You know how many kids used to die back in the day? People used to have a lot of kids because chances were some of them would die before they became adults.
