They will throw all that away, whats funny is when they have recalls I doubt informing the public works, because most people dont even see the news or stories of it and will just go about eating the food they bought.

Ive had Salmonella though thats one of the worst, got it from handling raw chicken and not washing my hands properly.

The 2 jars I have are in that lot range. My wife and 2 year old got randomly very sick a couple days ago. Interesting.

a few years ago, I had a Jar of a specific PB that was involved in a recall that caused many deaths. I continued to eat it, dead serious.

JIF is a peasant PB brand though, and you deserve to die if you eat that trash.
