I had this whole trial streaming every day from the beginning to the end on youtube. I work from home, so it was always on in the background. Amber Heard’s testimony simply doesn’t align with the evidence. When confronted with this, she gaslights and doubles down on the absurd. She feigns ignorance of the obvious (her own previous testimony). She displays an inability to present or express genuine emotion. Her audio tapes are terrifying.

All of that said, Depp may still lose his case. She just needs to convince one of the jurors that one of the many events that she described is more likely than not to have occurred. She machine gunned “events”, but had little to offer in the way of evidence. Or she can claim that she had no malice (knowledge that it was false). It must be a unanimous decision by all of the jury for Depp to win this, and that’s an uphill battle. But he did win public opinion. And I think that is what he wanted anyway.
