Grinding lifts out at diminishing returns while losing weight is certainly less fun.
Kicking up the cardio is actually enjoyable to me, though. Not that I'm anywhere as good at this as others around here.

brb always hungry
brb can't eat chit I want
brb results are coming SLOOOOW as fukk
brb I get bouts of extreme depression on cuts too, like something awful just happened and I'm struggling to keep it inside

I mentioned it because you mentioned depression, which is really a step beyond getting a bit moody because of less carbs and sugar.
I'm sure there is a lot online out there or on youtube discussing neurotransmitters. Mood, and nutrition. It could be worth browsing around when you have some time.
For example...some of those you might get less of because you might choose to have less fruit. It's really a huge subject and I'm no expert on it, just an interested party from the "wanting good mental health" perspective

Lol, I've decided that I'm not eating much of a deficit anymore. Just doing a lot more cardio. It's much better for social life and mental health.
