Anyone ever taken Phentermine for weight loss? Any luck?

So I was traveling earlier this year, and basically eating fast food twice a day and drinking 15+ drinks every night for 2 months. Ended up going from about 235 pounds and in great shape in November upon arrival to something like 265-270 with little muscle and a ton of water weight when I arrived back home in February.

I'm back in good cardio shape now and have most of my muscle back, but my weight is still something like 260 and I'm having a hard time getting any lower. It's been 3-4 years since I've has to lose more than like 15 pounds, and with a lot higher income and an overall much happier carefree lifestyle, my motivation to lose large amounts of fat over longer periods of time simply isn't what it used to be when I was broke and more unhappy.

I was doing research, and it looks like the best drug I can find is Phentermine, and I have an appointment tomorrow to see my doctor for a prescription. Hoping to take in for something like 30-45 days and get down to 220ish and maintain my muscle.

Is this a realistic scenario? And is Phentermine the type of drug that turns you into a jittery crackhead, or is it relatively tolerable?

i know people that have.

just like any drug, it seems to work for those who are dedicated and make the life changes like diet and exercise, but most people treat it like some sort of get fit quick miracle without doing the actual work and then get pissed and give up when it doesn’t work.

I am under the impression it can be dangerous for your heart/liver/kidneys, I advocate you doing your own research.

I would suggest the doctor prescribing it gets kick backs and is more concerned about money than your results/safety. So your research should include them, but also outside sources without that conflict of interest.

good luck with your goals, srs.

Thanks, I'm not concerned about actually gaining the weight back, because I usually maintain(or stay within 5-10 pounds) and have my diet and exercise to a point where I'm not prone to massive weight swings anymore(unless when traveling). Definitely not interested in taking this chit a single day longer than necessary, so I'll be serious until maybe August 1 and hopefully will at the ideal spot then.

Another thing I've noticed, being at 260 pounds takes a bigger toll on my body and everything is impacted. Posture, aches and pains, etc. Everything is better when weight is under control.
