ITT I give you the only 3 books you need to fix **ALL** your life problems (ded srs)

The title is obviously a little click-baity, but the mindsets that you will learn in these three books will equip you to tackle any area you have in your life. The principles taught in these three books are so crucial. If you don't understand the principles, then even if god himself came down from heaven and gave you a solution to problem in your life you won't be able to fix it.

1. Self-Mastery Through Autosuggestions by Emile Coue. This is the most important one and you can finish it in 1 hour.
2. Complete Ownership by Jacko Willink
3. Psycho-cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

Srs brahs. Don't underestimate the power of your mind. It's the x-factor in literally everything you do.

Only book you need is the Bible. I highly recommend reading Proverbs if you haven't.

No book is going to fix your problems. You have to fix your own problems
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

You more or less ought to follow a modern religion if you're not internationally elite.

Most people who are into the whole self help thing fall into an everlasting loop of reading books and watching videos while never actually improving. Eventually they end up looking at their cult leaders at heroes. I'm happy for the people who legit ended up getting their chit together though.

I bet if you asked 10 random people the 3 most important things they need to fix in their life they all know it deep down inside. Whether it's drinking or spending less time gaming or being stuck looking at their cellphone. There's no magical solution, it's all quite straightforward.

I used to read a bit years ago. Then I realized although I got a few things out of them, action is much more useful. You actually move forward, learn from it, and gain experience.

What ends up happening is most people read these books as action, but then never really actually take action with it enough to get anything really out of it besides a new temporary perspective.

I do think a few wisely chosen books though can help.

I'm on the same page with you. The 3 books I listed are completely different. They are all about mastering your mind and thoughts, they're not about fixing a specific area of your life. If you can master your mind, you can fix any problem in your life without the need of books and gurus and all that chit.

The reason most people get stuck in the self-help cycle is because they haven't mastered their minds.

While I completely understand what you're saying, if you're screwing up in life and for whatever reason seemingly unable to overcome whatever it is that's holding you back, a book can be a great way to make you start seeing things and thinking differently.

So yes, action is better than reading, but reading is better than nothing and increases the likelihood of you understanding why you need to take action and actually doing it, and it makes it more likely that the actions you do take are good ones.

You can put in a TON of effort and move yourself further away from your goals in the process, so there is something to be said for the mental (knowledge/mindset) aspect of success too.

It could trigger the start of something positive for people but I think for the majority it doesn't. I actually read the Law of attraction and wrote down a list of goals and repeated them out loud every single day. I went from living at home and having no work to making 10k/month with my own company and living abroad by myself. At the end people around me who motivated me and were a positive influence might've been a way more important factor in the end.

1-2 books and a good mindset change is all you need. Watching motivational videos for years and reading dozens of books isn't it. It can definitely be useful but don't get caught up into it.

In the end the key is just simply getting your chit together. You don't need that many tools for it, it's all within yourself.
