Idk man, seems to me ps3 was the pinnacle of gaming. Was just right.

Convince me otherwise. I might just by a PS3 for ****s and giggles to play nostalgic games cheap.

U wot m8? It wasn’t even the best of its generation. The 360 mogged the PS3 and I say this as an OG Sony fanboy (don’t play video games anymore but was loyal to the PlayStation brand since the 90s).

PlayStation 2 is the undisputed GOAT gaming system. I would accept an argument for the SNES as well, but OP you’re way off.

It's underrated but I still think the other playstations are better. Especially 1 and 2.

Shame that a lot of the hidden gems like Folklore, Puppeteer, and 3D Dot Game Heroes might never get rereleased.

Still have no idea how OP can possibly think PS3 is the greatest console ever made. It was the worst PlayStation ever made. Completely botched release, dropped for like $700.

The chit got ridiculed by every gamer and many thought Sony killed their brand at the time.



The chit was a slow mess, would constantly overheat. I got the yellow light of death more than once.

It also barely had any good exclusive games. I remember uncharted and god of war 3. That’s about it. The PSN was a fkin joke too.

Sony rushed to make a technologically superior console and ended up releasing a clusterfuk. I remember loling at that banana phone controller.



Granted, the PS3 got better as time went on, but it was the loser of its generation.

Ok, Forgive me for my typo,

What I wont forgive is microcock and the 360, FWIW, I did have rechargeables, But why the FCUK should i have to go buy even more siht to play video games. On top of paying to play online.

Archaic Piece of siht, If I was not getting a warranty done with microcock I was playing musical batteries.

After my third one got the red ring of death I wrapped it in a towel and left it on over night, Over heated it and re-soddered whatever the fcuk was wrong with it.

System wise, it marked the era of modern gaming. Lifelike graphics, downloadable games, seamless online play, etc... But out all the PS's, I have used it the least due to lack of good titles. MGS Revengence was a a god send of game though.

The Xbox 360 was a lot more engaging in just about every way. Far better online experience and UI, etc. PS3 was boring in that regard. I spent far more time on the 360 than PS3.

Although the PS3 had far better exclusive games i.e. TLOU (prior to going woke) Uncharted MGS GT etc.
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

PS3 controller didn't even have rumble/dualshock while PS2 did. HUGE miss.

PS3 games are good, though. I like a lot of PS3 games like uncharted 2, dark souls, etc. It was a great time to be a gamer. But if you look at online games like COD multiplayer, then you'd probably be more impressed with Xbox and the way Microsoft handled that area of gaming.

Sony's next gen PS4 improved some things extremely well, like graphics, and I enjoy many PS4 games too, and it's just a more polished/less awkward lifecycle, better looking console, more refined and mature UI/UX and overall design choices. I feel like PS3 was hit or miss and didn't have the same "magic" as PS2. Though the PS3 did help create MANY Sony exclusive games and I'm happy with the direction they went at the end of the lifecycle. You could say the same thing about PS4, and especially about the PS5. Today it just feels like most people are still playing remasters/remakes and low effort online games and there isn't the same creative spark as PS2 gen. I fking love a lot of PS4 games, though, like Bloodborne.
