move to a new area/state if you need to, not because you think you should. "Wanderlust" is some ****gy bull**** zoomers and sluts peddle these days to compensate for a lack of real goals
but OP follow your heart. If you want to go to Fire Island so badly by all means head that way

No. It really depends on your situation. You should figure out what you want in life first, then decide. If you like traveling and not being in one place, then travel. If you want to get married and have a family, then find an area that fits your way of life and have a home base.

I travel regularly to make appreciate the ranch. Sometimes I think I should’ve moved on to someplace else, then I travel and realize I’m good right where I’m at.

yes and no.
on one hand i'm tempted to move like once a year, and on the other it would be goat to pick a place and never have to move again.

If you were born in a third world country like India or the USA, then yes it’s dumb to stay
If you were born in Australia or similar it’s completely understandable

Everyplace I've travelled and enjoyed staying, I've bought a place to live there, some I've sold, some I've kept.. (God's been good to me, better than I deserve)...
but there is nothing like your HomeTown.

Moving away can be tough, but it's quite the growing experience too.
Always nice getting a fresh start somewhere as well.
It's not like you can't move back, most people move back eventually.

Should start a new thread..post your childhood home.
my parents built this house, I remember my dad taking me up on the roof to "help" him when I was only 9 as it was being built

Expanding your genetic options is as good a reason to migrate as any.
