How bad is diet soda?

I decided to quit cold turkey two days ago. 1st day was solid, didnt rly crave, felt good. Its day two now and I'm dying srs.

I probably can count on my hands the days I did not have a single diet soda for the past 10 years (probably more than 10 years) srs. Since covid it has been like 4-5 cans per day.

Should I cut down to 1-2 per day or completey quit?

The dangers are WAY overhyped. You know all the fat people who get diet coke with their XL value meal big mac? Well, they have health problems so moronic studies say, diet soda linked to health problems. It's mostly bs. When they did a study said aspartame caused cancer in rats they basically gave them their bodyweight in aspartame.

It's like most anything else, in moderation, it's fine. Four to five a day is bad, of course, but one to two is fine.

Every "rich girl" diet that i have ever been told about requires ditching diet sodas as step 1 in the process, i wonder why.

I drink way too much. Zero(sugar) ****s given.

I’m sure most of us have put a ton more toxic **** in our bodies than diet soda. Lol at thinking that will be the thing that gets you.

the 0 cal sweetener in diet soda's send the sweetness signal to your brain but then then their is no follow-up with the carbs from sugar. So your body then craves it's fix that it would have gotten from real sugar and you then tend to overeat to compensate. I now only drink a real sugar soft drink when I have one and I find I don't have the cravings and therefor eat less. Making that one change has helped me loose 30lbs so far.

As someone who drinks pepsi max religiously I think it's probably pretty bad for you. I just have the mindset that nothing in life is free. There has to be negatives

Anyone who thinks the globalist demons are feeding you a steady stream of "a safe alternative to sugar" is fuking delusional, and I mean truly delusional.

Diet sodas and artificially flavored drinks are carcinogens in a can, and people drink them by the gallon.

I suppose they'll find out sooner or later, but never make the connection to their illness.
