Family questioning if I'm gay because I don't bring girls to events

It's not like I've never brought a girl to a family event before. Ever since the pandemic I just haven't had any luck finding a girl to date let alone bring around the fam. Now every time I go to a family event there's this running joke that I might be gay. I didn't take it too serious the first few times but now I don't even wanna go around the family until I get a girlfriend. I might just bring an escort to fourth of July
