Why even sell if it's negative?

Why not just leave it alone? At least you have a chance for it to go up and not be in a worse position.

The question you should be asking is if you would buy it today, if you didn't already own it. If the answer is no, then you should sell it.

Holding onto a depreciating asset just because you don't want to experience a loss is some low IQ thinking.

Preserving capital > your feelings.

Sometimes it's smart to cut your lost srs. I sold a position last year for a 40k lost. Had 5k left and put it on something else and that 5k turned into 6 figures ded srs. Got greedy and didn't sell at the peak. Ended up making 57k last year. I'm glad I sold for a lost. Cuz if I didn't sell and bag hold my position today would of only be worth 200 right now. The market is corrupt and manipulated. Sometimes u just gotta learn to cut your loses and move on mane.

Good point. A lot of people don't consider opportunity cost when holding onto a loser.

Crypto is dead or just about to die.

Coinbase letting go of so many of their staff.

Corporate holders quietly unloading their bags.

The idiots will be the ones yelling "it'll go up like it always has! Just have faith!"

Lol.

There's a long list of dead crypto exchanges and dead coins and the market still moved on and thrived without them.

That doesn't mean chit, cuck.

Crypto has been up and down for over a decade. People always say they wish they got into crypto years ago, so they don't get in and then another 5 years goes by and they say the same thing lol. The stock market is down too.

We're kind of in uncharted territory with Crypto though considering it hasn't even been around long enough to see an actual recession. When money gets tight, and you have bills to pay, people are going to pull out of speculative investments like crypto first. If this recession lasts years, will crypto even be able to survive it?

At the very least, I think the majority of the coins we see today are going to get wiped out, but that could lead to some juicy opportunities if you back one of the winning horses. I still don't think Crypto has come close to hitting rock bottom yet.

That's because most people are retarded and spend every dime they have on **** they don't need during the good times and then freak out and sell during the bad times. Bad times = opportunities for those with cash to accumulate investments and assets on the low.

While this is true, it doesn't change the fact that speculative investments get wrecked the most during recessions, and crypto is about as speculative as you can get. I will be looking for opportunities in the future...I just can't see another crypto boom happening anytime soon.

True. A boom might happen when the price bottoms out. When that happens nobody knows how high it will go because its so volatile.
