Anyone been to Nobu in Malibu?

I've been to the one in Newport Beach, but getting a reservation at the Malibu location seems impossible. Any tricks or hacks to get a reservation there?

I got 2 coupon to eat at nobu one time because I ate some bad shrimp at the buffet in the hotel.

I complained to the manager and he gave me 2 coupons to eat at nobu for free lmfao.


The ironic thing is I ordered the raw KoBe beef slices. They were amazing. I got food poisoning and spent the night barfing.

How? Whenever I've called or looked online they're always fully booked, even a month in advance.

If you go on their website you can fill out the “waitlist” and request an opening.

Mastro’s Ocean club in Malibu is also top notch and right near by, I prefer it to Nobu tbh.

You could also try his original restaurant Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills if you don’t have to be in Malibu.

Nobu is kinda a tourist trap, which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for. But there are dozens of top quality sushi places that **** on Nobu of you don’t care about overlooking the ocean.

This. Nobu is way overrated, and Matsuhisa is the go to.

If you want to spend $$ at Nobu, then go to n/naka in culver city. That restaurant takes a massive chit all over Nobu.

Went to one in Vegas. It was good but not mind blowing like they are hyped up to be.
