Is there an easier way of repping back?

The only way I know how to rep back if they haven't posted in that thread is to do advanced search for their name. But sometimes nothing turns up, or threads do but I have to sift through them if that username isn't the last post or thread creator. I'll rep the person who can tell me if and what is an easier way. I've been putting off repping back because it's such a pain and I want to give back the love

I google something like "username misc bb" and then Ctrl + f their username in whatever thread comes up. The search feature on here rarely works for me.

I leave a courtesy link to one of my posts in each rep comment. The vast majority of rep comments in my user cp are links actually. I thought that was standard operating procedure. It’s not the same for you guys?

Are you saying google can see misc now? Cause that wasn't the case last time i tried. They can see bb but not misc boyo.

Ive gotten a few of those during my time in misc, but a lot of my reps recently have been people giving me love and support for my recovery. I'm incredibly grateful that there has been so much positivity coming from people on the misc!

Apparently Google can, but I only tried it for one username. And lol, I've been getting a lot of love from those wishing me luck or congrats with my recovery. I'd like to return the love. And I'm on my phone working out, I'll rep you when I get back to my computer.

I just googled "bodybuilding.com misc thepump0561" and it shows posts from like 2021. That makes sense. A year ago when they locked down the forum, the google web crawlers could no longer harvest our posts.... but the ones from before that still exist.. you can still use google to search, but only for old posts before the forum got locked down

It usually works, I guess for posts outside of the misc itself. At any rate it works better for me than using the search function on here.
