What are some good ways to be a Gentleman?

Besides holding doors open for people.

Intervening when you see a guy beating his gf in public. Bonus points if after you step in and get stabbed she tells the police you started it then goes home with him afterwards

There are the physical acts, like holding doors open for people, making eye contact, letting a woman lead into the room (by guiding her)

I'd also recommend Emily Post's book on Etiquette, and for women especially, I'd recommend the Charleston Academy of Domestic Pursuits. The former is a more updated version of Etiquette, with the bonus addition of some nice recipes for entertaining.
