I’m an idiot and program hop like a MFer. On an upper/lower right now and enjoying it. But my dumb ass will probably be all about kettlebell circuits and boxing next week.

Will get 40 different answers, or none since Misc doesn't lift.

I like half/half splits (Upper Lower, Anterior Posterior, etc.) or 1/3 splits (PPL, HVL, etc.).

Speaking very generally, it's difficult for less experienced lifters to correctly program a full body split themselves (usually end up with way too much volume), or a "body part" split (typically results in imbalances), because people tend to fukk up volume/intensity/frequency/balancing/etc.

Been doing bro splits for 20 years. Never really got into full body workouts that much.

I bounce around between Full Body, Upper Lower/Push Pull Powerbuilding style routines. The one I keep coming back to is Layne Norton's PH3. Full body is cool because it's nice not beating the $hit out of a particular bodypart each day and it's fun to get a nice full body pump daily. However, with full body workouts I've found that I definitely skimp out on my legs compared to when they have their own day.

As with anything in life...Different training styles will yield different results from person to person. Really I feel as if you find what works best for you and send it...

That said... IMO full body workouts are more geared towards those trying to increasing functional gain's. And I can certainly see the appeal to something of that nature as father time grabs ahold of you. Not to mention throwing around big weight tends to bring on more injuries and longer recovery times the older you get. However for the last 25 years I have done some variation of Bro Splits before they even had a name and its served me well...that method is now engrained into my DNA and without a doubt has been passed down to my offspring for maximum future gains.

I'm doing full-body 3 times a week. I feel I respond better to it.

I do both. One full body day a week, then a leg day and an upper day.

I do a hybrid PPL. One full body day, then a traditional push/pull/legs split.

Full body with high intensity cardio at the end. It's mentally exhausting but breaking through the wall feels good and it works for me

Been doing PPL for the past 3ish years and dont ever plan on changing it. I've added some plyometrics in the beginning of my workouts and mountain biking on weekends.
