I live in cali and love it here. Every morning I wake up with my natural light night stand simulating the sunlight patterns to wake me up, afterwards I open my blackout curtains to let the sun fill my room with positive vibes. I then put essential oils in the vaporizer and meditate. I then get in my tesla to drive down to my local artesian coffee shop and get a cold brew latte with oatmilk and monk fruit sweetener and gluten free avocado toast with a poached free range egg. Afterwards I pull out my macbook and start telecommuting to work. Around lunch I have headed over to a local park with outlets and wifi to continue my work. I order lunch on uber eats and finish my day.

Been to many third world countries.

While they dont by any stretch have it better, there are some advantages. You are basically trusted to behave according to social norms and be a good citizen on your own. You dont have to be forced by politicans to do it. You also want to do it because its your village and your people.

The main one is far fewer rules. No body constantly on you about every little thing. On the downside, there are also the same no rules when it comes to things like building codes, plumbing food sanitation and the like. Those things can be bad.

Also the police can swoop in and arrest everyone for whatever reason and throw you in jail. No constitutional protections like we have. That doesnt see, like a big deal if you are a decent person but it just tales one connected guy to want your house or farm or something and your life can be pretty dismal. Not a damn thing you can do about it either.

We have it way better here. Try this experiment. Remove your toilet seat and disconnect the tank. Now find a leaky pipe and an old rusty coffee can. That will be your new toilet paper and flushing water.

Find a big 55 gallon drum and put it on the side of your house where the water runs off when it rains. Get another old rusty coffee can and put it in there too. This will be your shower. Use the coffee can to pour the water over your head.
