Seattle police pay $3.5M settlement to fugly woman who charged them with a knife

Even after the court ruled the shooting was justified, the Seattle police paid the estate of this crackhead and her two mentally disabled children $3.5M after she charged officers with a knife in her apartment




Apparently the family is complaining they still didn’t get enough and are continuing to press charges

daily reminder if you feel wronged by local government, and can get a lawyer to agree with you, you will likely “win”.

Police departments settle outside of court very often. More than not I believe. I am sure one of you will correct me if I am wrong here.
