Herman Miller Chairs - WFHcels GTFIH

I’m looking into one of two Herman Miller chairs. Either the Aeron, or the Embody.

Both are gonna cost roughly the same, but I can’t find good input online on how these chairs feel to people that aren’t average sized. I’m 6’2” 240.

Any other similarity sized miscers have experience with either of these chairs?

Pretty sure the Aeron at least has multiple size choices
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

They have 3 sizes, A, B, and C, I believe C is the largest size.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I was hoping one of you big guys would have one at home or your office.

I’ve seen the charts, but didn’t know how much faith to put into them.

I just got an Aeron, and I had to swap it out for their Mirra chair. The Aeron has a bowl-like plastic cupping at the edges that digs in. If you like to prop your legs up on the chair, then this chair is not for you.

The Embody isn't that comfortable, tried it in store, definitely my least favourite between the Aeron, Mirra and Embody. Idk what threw me off about this chair, it feels small and I'm a manlet, so you probs would hate it.

The Mirra mesh is a little less stiff than the Aeron mesh. It's basically the same chair though, but no plastic bowl/cupping on the side. Would recommend and it's like 300-500 bucks cheaper.

I own an Aeron size B and I feel the Mirra Butterfly is the better chair of the two, except for the armrest having a kinda rough texture. Didn't like the Embody, gets hot when I sit in it, creaky/noisy too.
Vijf euros? Op je muil, gauw.

I have an embody. I love it. It’s so customizable and comfortable.

I bought mine lightly used for $550 and it was worth every penny.

The university library I use has Mirra chairs and Aeron chairs. I agree. The Mirra is VERY comfortable. If I didn’t have an embody I’d buy the Mirra.

The aeron is not comfortable at all.

Even with proper lumbar adjustment?

I’m 5’8 175 and it doesn’t feel small at all.

I hadn’t even considered the Mirra, but it seems to be a crowd favorite. I just found out that we have a local office furniture store that has Herman Miller chairs to try. Appreciate the replies boyos.

Edit: on spread. I’ll hit you guys tomorrow
