BEST Drip Coffee Maker?
I'm in the market for a new drip coffee maker. I'm not a coffee snob by any means, I just buy whole beans, grind them myself and leave the maker programmed to have my coffee ready every morning.
Must have:
- Programmable
- 10+ cup capacity
Wants:
- Thermal Carafe if its a good design and worth it.
Do not want:
- Non Programmable
- Espresso machines, pod machines, etc
- built in grinder
You can all have my gay indian dying reps

Get the cheapest Mr Coffee programmable one.
That way you can make it the ight before and its ready when you get up.
Absolutely no need to pay more than $25 for it and thats if you cant find it on sale. pay a few extra bucks for the hard filter so you dont need a million paper ones.
Also get the cheapest coffee you can find. I get the aldi brand in the big tub. The trick to make it taste 100 times better is to add a few shakes of salt in the grounds. This seems to somehow cut out the lousy cheap taste. No idea how it works but it does.
You dont need espresso unless you are italian or a girl. Just get coffee and drink it like a man. Grinding your own is also for hipsters and people who cant shake a bit of salt into cheap grounds.
If you need a fancy, ladies coffee, just go to starbucks once in a while.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I have a Mr. Coffee and use Walmarts Great Value coffee. Tastes fine. Never heard of using salt, but it tastes ok to me on its own.
I do have a Bialetti moka pot for some nice after dinner demitasse once in a while though

Aeropress
https://www.amazon.com/AeroPress-Cof...b-3bb461a9a5a6
Not what you asked for, but it's fresh coffee every cup and you can let it sit getting a stronger brew before pressing.
edit: That one makes 1-3 cups. I got the OG, it just makes 1 cup

I'm of the mind, you either a) grind your own beans and make it that way or b) might as well fuking do instant coffee.
Honestly, the past few years I've been slumming. Subscribed to thread, I think I need to up my game. I drink enough of the chit.
edit: fuk it, I will just use a french press. Sorry to threadcrap OP.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
