Work Boot Recommendations

What's a good steel toe work boot? Looking for some personal recommendations. Where the tradies at?

I bought some Ariats about 8 months ago and I absolutely hate them. Feet hurt like hell after long usage, get blisters, etc.

My artiats always feel great, but I got the extra wide and I always like shoes that make wider versions typically.

Thoroughgoods are comfortable as hell. $200-250 will set you up with a pair.

I have these and love them:https://thorogoodusa.com/american-he...edge-804-4208/

They should come in steel toe too.

Got a pair of Origin Maine boots a couple of months ago (USA Made). They are a bitch to break in. I don't wear them everyday so it's taking me a while to get them broke in. Getting better every time I wear them.

Other than that, Red Wings.
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

I spent 30 minutes trying on Thorogoods the other day to replace my Ariats after two pairs of those that I hated, could not find a size/width combo that fit my feet properly, feels bad man. Ended up with a pair of Wolverines that felt fkn AMAZING walking around the store, then put them on two days later and wore a blister on my ankle bone in under 10 minutes. Sofa king pissed.

I'm a big fan of Nick's Boots. They're expensive but we'll worth the price considering they're made in Canada from high quality materials and have a great warranty and repair service. Admittedly I've never tried their steel toe work boots but if quality is similar to their casual boots line then it's a no brainer.

that's exactly what happened with my Ariats. feel so nice standing in them and walking for a few minutes. After that, it's straight downhill.
