They should open a canal and fill the middle of australia with sea water

Bunch of barren wasteland, just dig a super deep wide hole and fill it with sea water. At least it would make it an epic inland lake with sharks and other chit

It shouldn't be a Country. Should build a big beautiful wall around it and send criminals.

And just think about how much of it will evaporate and saturate that dry air. Eventually the air will be so moist, it will start to rain. And all that water comes back down as fresh water. With freshwater, plants will start to grow and pull tons of CO2 out of the atmosphere. You just might solve climate change while making Australia livable.

This week on The Buff and the Beautiful: Colleen comes up with a new scheme to win over Carlos. But first she has to gain the trust of her captor.

You do realise It's about 1500 miles to the centre from east or west. That's like Mexico City to Los Angeles whichever side of the continent you start from. Brb digging an inland lake the size of Texas in the middle of Straya, just 4000 years to go, it'll be ready in no time.

Map seems misleading, the colour indicates topography not vegetation.

This is part of my terraform australia policy.

The US is so successful because it is pretty much entirely habitable with people spread all over the place sustaining rapid growth.

1. Open up multiple canals through the Simpson
2. Eventually the air becomes moist and there is much higher rainfall
3. Huge areas become habitable or useable for production sustaining much high growth rates without having to rely on immigration.
4. Eventually we have inland cities and towns much like the US.
