Mortgage Applications Fall to Lowest Rate Since 2000

https://www.breitbart.com/economy/20...el-since-2000/

Higher interest rates and very high home prices dragged down demand for mortgages for the third straight week, data from the Mortgage Bankers Association indicated Wednesday.

Mortgage applications fell 6.3 percent for the week ending July 15, 2022, the MBA said.
Q3 next year is going to be a blast!

imagine thinking interest rate doesn't affect the real estate market.

How big of a retard would you have to be?

Shortage of supply, you know. People will line up to pay $2000/mo more for the same Zillow price, because homes are in such short supply...

Real talk though, Powell is going to bitch out of interest rate hikes in Q4 2022 / Q1 2023 and the RE bull is back on.

There's more housing units per capita in the US today than there were in 2000.

RE price explosion is basically a money supply explosion. It's all driven by two decades of central bank money printing and big dogs hedging against inflation from that money printing.

When a 1.5% rate shock can stop the market's heart, you know that low rates were the only thing driving it along.

Don't know what overvalued ****hole you guys live in, prices are gradually increasing here, and have been for the last two years. No t many spikes to be seen.

Lmao at living in the city.

Also lol at people who treat homes like an investment. If you're staying at least 5-10 years you'll be fine and sell for a profit down the road.
