Are You Living in the ⏰Future, ⏱️Present or ⌛Past?
I admire people who think about the future they want to live in and constantly try to create it the way they like.
I'm living my life consciously, aware that each moment I breathe is a gift. Only future that matters is of my family, especially that of my daughter.
And there are people who continually indulge innegativenostalgia, longing for what is no longer, clinging to the dead past while refusing to use this moment orpositivenostalgia to improve the present and future.

Which one are you, a person of theFuture, PresentorPast?

Past.
If only I had gotten a gf when I was in college to marry I wouldn't be in this situation as an FA with no hope.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Currently the present.
It was the future for a long time, but I am in a phase of life where I am stopping to smell the flowers.

Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Present.
I got a promotion at work recently. I’m focussed on the ‘every day’ things, not overthinking my career goals. I’ll ride this bus for a few years, walk my dogs every morning, save my money, cooking meals.
I have no idea what the future holds, but I’m learning new things.

Past.
I’m constantly reminiscing. Nostalgia is my fuel. I recognize it’s not healthy, but my mind is always looking back to previous chapters of my life or even historical periods I was not around in.

A little bit of all three, though that's probably a boring answer. I tend to enjoy the present, I try to plan for the future, but I also hold on to a lot of the past. I try to learn from it.

Interesting thread kaz, i've never really thought about it.
I think I'm living in the present. I don't think about my childhood/school days much. And I'm not scrambling for the future, trying to make things happen. Life is happening fast.

I think about my past at times to try to find understanding in it and learn something. Also, I'm always planning for the future, and embracing the present. Always stay positive though.
