Anyone here ever tried BPC 157?
Thinking about trying some to see how it goes. Reviews are all over the place, ranging from “does nothing” all the way to “drastically improves recovery” so looking for some input from fellow miscers with personal experience.

Apparently it heals the stomach and intestines.
I wonder why its never been approved for usage by FDA? If some people with gut issues claim it healed them they need to look into it.
Also its hard to find a legit source.

And not only is the FDA not looking into potential benefits, they are basically trying to shut down peptides as much as possible. That doesn’t surprise anyone with half a brain though.

I bought some to see if it would help.
It did NOT HELP.
However, it cured my knees and I never intended to buy it for that.
I have spent decades lifting, running, and my knees got to the point where they hurt and using steps and stuff made me have to be careful. After I used BCP 157 for my throat I started to notice that I had no pain in my knees.
I did two rounds of it and I now have no knee pain at all. I am jogging and have full flexibility.

I have tried it but I took the IM route so I could get it directly into the affected area (drivers side shoulder). I didnt experience any known side effects and did help with the day to day pain which I will assume was inflammation.. but.. cant say its the miracle some people made it out to be...
IDK..
I will refrain from giving my opinion on it based on one experience. Maybe dosing could of been better... i'll give it another try when needed and log it.

I researched it and nasal sprays can deliver it to the system.
Other ways are oral but I read there's skeptics about that. There's also site injections.
I read many studies on BCP 157 and it's effective for many problems.
I noticed that after a few weeks it made me very tired but the benefits I experienced were great.
Also, since I didn't buy it for my knees I assume the effect was real and not psychological. Plus, the countless studies are so positive.
What type do you have?

I've tried it twice along with TB500. Nagging injuries that lasted for 6-9 months. The injuries really seemed to reduce by 50% within 6-8weeks. having said that, i was also doing safe recovery workouts. Avoiding irritating the area, so I could have just given the injury a break. BUT it seemed to speed things up.

BPC should be injected as close to the injury site as possible into subq tissue

like Finasteride it was for prostate but then they found out the people who took it regrew hair and stopped hairloss
With BPC it seems its a legit healer of the gut and intestines, well it would make sense because its derived from the gut.
I think the reason why its no approved is because it comes from human Cadavers?

Late April at BJJ randomly had my knee snap coming up into deep half while flow rolling with another experienced guy. MRI showed high grade tear of my LCL (roughly 75%), ruptured some smaller muscle / tendon under the LCL, and damaged a bunch of cartilage.
Decided against removing torn LCL and replacing with cadaver LCL with new anchors drilled into my femur and tibia. Went with Prolotherapy / Stem Cell / PRP injections since I had good results with similarly snap citied shoulder / bicep anchor. Injections (and brutal bone marrow extractions) performed middle of July.
Started taking BPC in mid/late May, and my doctor was shocked at how much my LCL and assorted other injuries had healed in roughly two months. Not sure how much the BPC helped with that healing before stem cell procedure, but figure it had to be something. Will continue to take it for another two months post procedure. Am very hopeful to be back training after my follow up ultrasound appointment in 6 weeks.

However, I would go with injections. I just did not feel like fooling around with all of that.
You might have mentioned but what are you trying to repair?
The brand I got results from is named after the large black primate that is famous for beating its chest and rhymes with vanilla and Healing as the second word.
So google the name of that animal and healing and see what you think.

People who haven't researched it say negative things.

Also, it doesn't conclude anything about tumors, it just throws that in. The formation of blood vessels is AWESOME for the healing process.
Learn how to read studies or don't post them.

The idea is that it helps develop blood vessels. So, if you already have a tumor it could help the tumor.
However, if you look up studies it is effective in many diseases and injuries.

I use it 2x a day at whatever site is bothering me the most which is usually next to the herniated disc in my neck, or trap or delt. I wouldn’t be lifting without it. So yes it works, but it’s temporary relief. Have no plans to stop using it. Will be adding tb500 next because I heard that’s more actual healing over a longer period of time. I used it once before but I think it was bunk.
