Yup. My good friend is a 3rd year apprentice in the sheet metal union. All he does is crack jokes and shoot the chit with other alpha males all day in between lifting heavy objects. The boss buys them lunch daily. They go home feeling accomplished, actually contributing to society.

He’s gonna be set for life without a degree by the time he’s mid-late 30s too. The only problem with tradies is they wreck their bodies too early in life. If the pension system were set up so retirement age is 45-50ish it would be the GOAT career path. But blue collar work into your 60s? Das not it mane. I guess a foreman doesn’t have to do as much work though. Still, waiting to put in your time is a long game. The best option might be to tradie it up into your 30s then pivot to real estate and coast off investments by your 40s. Easier said than done I know.

Meanwhile white collar workers slave away doing absolutely meaningless work for less money while frying their bodies and minds, losing test every time they clock into their cucked existence.

Most ppl are just average joes going into work for 48k per year. Personally my job is easy but it's very boring and not rewarding.

My job is way more pay, but honestly my life is the same it was when it was 40k a year in 2008. I work at a startup though because it's a little more exciting.

officels are the most cucked group imo. As a tradie who owns their own business, i get to keep all of the money i make, and i get to work with my hands. The satisfaction i get after a job is already amazing, then when the homeowner pays me, its like icing on the cake....not to mention im in better shape than most people in their 30's and make way more than the overachievers in my highschool. fuking lmao these folks are working office jobs eating donuts all day making a pittance. I wouldn't even get out of bed for less than $70/hr. These folks are working for $25-$30 an hour. SAD!!! The biggest illusion in america is the work hard, go to school, get a job mentality. I read rich dad poor dad (yes tradies read) early on in life and realized the only way is to be your own boss and scale until the business doesn't need you to be operational. People in society are generally lazy and complain they're "too busy", yet have time to sit and rot watching the voice. Office work is a sure path to becoming low T, fat, lazy, and unsatisfied.

I agree but that doesn't mean it is something I want to do. Working for yourself is not a stress free existence, especially in the beginning. I'd rather take a pay cut and let someone else deal with that stress.

if you are salaried you are expected to get your work done - sometimes it requires over 40hrs a week but it also can be less than 40hrs as well. if you manage your work load well, it should come out in your favor more often than not.

People are looking into this too much these days. Make your money and spend it to improve your life. Ideally you'll be working a 9-5 that actually affords you a good lifestyle outside of work. Obviously people working a dead end job for $50k> are gonna feel cucked.
