Lost my taste from covid. Just fuk me

Had covid for almost a week but just lost taste out of nowhere today. This fukin sucks. If it doesn't come back quick I'm truly roping.

Lost my taste only for a day. Smell for a few days. Smell is back to about 75%. My friend lost his smell for a year.

That happened to a colleague of mine. Temporarily lost her sense of taste after covid. Although she did get it back, apparently her sense of smell got messed up because things like garlic, eggs, onions and even certain proteins smell awful to her.

Believe the wife and I had Covid Dec. 2019, not gonna lie, it was pretty bad, not hospital bad, but we both got some bad symptoms, extremely weak, always tired, lost taste to almost everything, except the FS I could taste were very strong & extremely salty, fever, chills, constant nagging cough, sensitive to light....but after a week or so, done.

Just stuck to vitamin C, Zinc, Echenacia, Vit D, olive leaf oil, Goldenseal & tons of water. It passes like every other flu. Haven’t been sick since then, nor the wife.. both never masked except I had to at a couple places that required for work.

OP you’ll get it back, mine took awhile as well, you’ll start to first notice the saltiness of food, & then it will all come back. Keep on with Vit C, & Zinc/Mag daily
