This former Concrete factory turned into a house is the COOLEST house in HISTORY

This was an old and abandoned concrete factory turned into a house and studio for a spanish architect. I still think this is the coolest home on the planet.

Cool thread. Thanks for introducing me to this architect. When it comes to homes I really love wide, open spaces. It feels museumesque in a way.

"My outer appearance was poor, but in this way my inner world became richer than anyone else's. Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? Pretty cool reuse of the space. The arch windows, doors and tall ceilings give it a church feel. The photos with the trees on the outside and light shining in make the space feel like the garden of eden is right outside

That's probably where Squid Game got that architectural idea from.

I was also checking out this former renaissance church turned into a house/loft. Imagine the ghosts (no thanks)

And now that we're on the subject of surreal architecture this is the current hot movement in the upper classes of Bolivia, the Cholet style. Completely surreal and Hallucinogenic

I thought you meant the coolest temperature per the concrete walls. i guess if it was in a temperate zone where it didn't get cold its pretty nice but locatiion is so so important. even being an extra 10 miles away from where you would want to live would get on my nerves.

repped though...it is an inspirational house and probably music sounds EPIC in it.

The first two houses are pretty cool. Reminds me of Dr. Suess with the arches and stairs.

Not sure I would feel safe in an earthquake though.
