Army relaxing recruiting requirements

Due to low recruiting numbers, the Army is relaxing educational, tattoo and physical fitness requirements.

The Army is no longer requiring a High School Diploma

A recruit who has 6% body fat more than the limit will be put into a new training program. Once they are above 2% the limit they can go to Basic Training.

This happens every time there is a democrat administration.

They cut the military budget which means fewer people in the service. They can get rid of existing people just like they did with the covid vaccines. easy way for a good amount of people to basically voluntarily leave when you normally cant do that.

Then they make it harder to join. Its not believable to think with people out of work that they are not looking to the military for work. of course they are as they always do it tough economies.

What this loosening up stuff is is just a way to get more oddballs and weirdos in the service or at least applying to get in. That way they can put them on tv to push their agenda.

Its like when burger king puts out that sign saying $25 an hour to flip burgers. Tons of people should have those jobs but for some strange reason, no one knows anyone making remotely near that amount.

Good. The army should be drone chit now, we don't need 3M people walking around with guns to fight China any more. Infrared miniguns and GPS guided smart mortars have made that chit obsolete.

Old news, they already dropped the no ged part after like a week. A fat camp for obese Americans is a good idea, maybe they should make a bodyfat requirement for kids going to public school too

I work with a few guys who a few in the national guard and army and they don’t even know what Ukraine or Thailand even is. These jokers can’t even do 3 push-ups. They are just there fir the money.

I'd say half my recruiting class were low-class gang bangers that were at least smart enough to find their way out of the hood. 1/4 of the class was probably mentally retarded. I was pretty disappointed at the types that joined. Also met plenty of smart/good people though, once I got to tech school.

The fitness training battalion is nothing new. They had it when I went to basic in 1988. You only had to do some stupidly low number of pushups to go from reception station to basic training. Those that couldn't got diverted to the FTB.

Don't go to the fukkin army. If you have already have a roof over your head and 3 squares, there are wayyyyy better ways to get job training.

Have you taken any CLEP classes Mike? You need to start somewhere rather than aimless misc posting, and CLEPs are uber fukking easy. If you went to the military, those are what they'd be pushing you towards anyway.

It's the easiest time for any branch in a while, recruiting goals across all military branches aren't being met. And don't worry, you don't need to be smart for the air force, the minimum scores are only a few points higher than the other branches. It's like needing a D+ instead of a D on a test.
