In4answers cus I don't really have a good one, and I'm curious.
One release that did catch me out of left field was The Killers' 2021 Pressure Machine. Certainly wouldn't say they're a bad band, but I wasn't expecting such a deep and well put together album from them, especially since they've been around a while. Really well done album that goes a lot into small town America and particularly, how its faring in the face of the opioid epidemic :/

I'll list 2 acts that had one great album but never followed them up with anything close to that great album:
1. Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morrissette
2. Yourself Or Someone Like You - Matchbox 20

Not a big fan of Whitesnake, but their self titled album is freaking awesome.

Meatloaf-Bat Out Of Hell
Sheryl Crow-Tuesday Night Music Club
Level 42-World Machine
King Crimson-In The Court Of The Crimson King
Stone Roses-The Stone Roses
Wilco-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
None of these were bad artists, all were decent-but none of them great.

Red is amazing. Discipline is such an important album. Starless and Bible Black is great. People REALLY like Larks Tongues for some reason.
But for real, Red > ITCOTCK for me. Maybe my favorite drumming album of all time.

Beat actually is probably their only album I haven't listened to.

Since when is 50 cent not a great artist? What does the subject mean? Not so great artist (very average) who made accidentally one great album or with the help of very talented group but after that they couldnt make one as good or better because they arent "talented" enough.
50 made 3 amazing albums Power of the Dollar,GRODT and The Massacre. Before I Self Destruct was good and Curtis was decent with couple of bangers on it.
I would rather name rappers like idk Future,Drake,Young Thug etc

If we're mentioning Weezer, I'd say Third Eye Blind fits into this category.
