Are Incels just incels because they think they deserve out of their league?

I hear the argument from incels that they can’t find a girl because they’re too ugly, too short, etc., and they can’t get a girl to give them the time of day.

I think it’s because they’re a 3 or 4 shooting for 6,7,8’s. They’re used to seeing beautiful women on social media, online, in movies, and they grow to think they deserve that. They have completely unrealistic expectations.

Dudes that are 3-4’s need to go for girls that’s are 2,3,4’s, maybe a 5 that was a 6 (but she would need to be a single mom and he would need to have some money). They would find a girl then.

Is it really an issue of unrealistic expectations and not being realistic with themself?

Then there is the general social ineptitude.

A lot of guys don't know how to handle women, or even talk to them.

A lot of guys are checked out, too. In their eyes the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Not just dating, but life in general.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

If they are living in their moms basement or working a part time job and expect to have an insta sloot begging for their dink, yes.

If they make 60k>, fit, dress well and are still getting played by sloots, no.

Incels are real but the gripes they have with modern dating is also real and affects average guys too. Society labels both groups incels.

Yeah the social ineptitude I would agree is a part of it. There’s a few friends that I have and I literally face palm when they tell what they said and how they approached a girl.

There’s also guys who are too much of a coward to even approach a girl.

Bingo. I've been noticing this a lot lately. Like any guy who complains about/critiques women/dating instantly gets called an incel these days, meanwhile we're living in a society that has become hyper-focused on complaining about/critiquing men over every little thing, yet nobody seems to be calling women femcels when they double down hard on that chit, and if they did there would be outrage and instant backlash.

Fear of rejection can be paralyzing. Especially if you're the type of male thay is usually looked down on or ignored by your more successful counterparts. It adds another layer of disappointment and humiliation to the rejection because now you're feeling inferior to other men.

Unfortunately in the west men have this culture that makes it easy to abandon unsuccessful, socially awkward men.

A lot of incels have their self to blame. They can be really caustic, unrealistic, and off-putting. However, men in the West are not unified and we leave plenty of young men that can be helped to fend for themselves.

Out of their league, they never have to truly deal with real rejection. They know they are never getting the 10/10 girl so the rejection is less harsh.

Getting rejected by a 2/10 is what they are actually afraid of.

My cousin is a great example of this. He's the only one of us unmarried in the whole family and he just won't accept that the best he is ever going to get is a 5/10.

Do we though? There’s plenty of resources out there on self improvement and to get therapy, and a lot of self improvement books are written by men along with podcasts. If men didn’t see this as important, I don’t think there would be all these resources put out there by men.

I think how men hang out with other males helps to stir improvement as well. We do this by making light hearted jokes at one another. Your friend gets a hat and he looks like a *******, you’re going to crack a joke and call him a *******. Your friend will then learn, hey this hat makes me look like a ******* maybe I shouldn’t wear this hat if I want to be socially acceptable. That’s how we build camaraderie as well.

If the guy doesn’t adapt then he’s probably going to be a bit of a pariah. Then he needs to look at himself and see what is going, what he needs to work on, and how he can fix the issue.

Yeah, it’s as if their ego is too large that they can’t take an honest look at themself. Pride is preventing from them having a more fulfilling life.

Based on your posts you probably had a spiritual awakening recently similar to what I had. My guess is you have an introverted/intuitive personality or maybe even a little autism which is why you have trouble talking to people. Girls' standards nowadays have skyrocketed. Even 2-4/10 girls will only settle for guys that are 6+/10. And they have a much better chance of landing a 6/10 guy than a 2-4/10 guy would getting a 6/10 girl. Remember the pig girl POF experiment? I think the only chance a sub 5/10 guy has are with single moms or single grandma's who are 40+ years old.

I was in franchising for a number of years and over the course of that time I employed hundreds of young men around the age where they need to start thinking and acting like a man.

It was shocking how many had no idea what was expected of them, how to comport themself, or having an older man that would hold them accountable.

For many of them I was legitimately the only male figure in their life that listened to them, cut through their bull**** and held them accountable in a productive and understanding way.

I agree that there are a lot of resources out there. The greatest resource is always a male leader-figure in your personal life.

Some incels though are incels because they are **** people. They may coincidentally possess traits we commonly attribute to incels overall such as social awkwardness, but that's not why they are ultimately incels. They are rotten human beings at their core.

This subset I believe burns a lot of bridges for other incels.

That’s ridiculous.

The 1-10 scale is a pyramid. There are a lot more girls that are 2’s than there are 10’s. Do you think the girls that are 10’s are going to be outcompeted by girls lower on the scale than them? No way. The demand for them is high and the supply is great. The girls that are 10’s will have their pick of the men. This creates a downward pressure as now the 9 girls have to go for 8 & 9’s, and the 8 girls have to go for 8’s and 7’s, and so forth.

A girl that is a 2 cannot compete with a girl that is a 6. So the 2 has to stay in her range.

Maybe the 2 tries to hold our and she herself becomes an incel. Well if she eventually wants to break her inceldom then she’s going to have come to grips with a reality and find a dude that is also a 2.

I’d ask you why do you blindly accept the idea that a guy has to be perfect in todays society to get a decent girl that’s a 7> in looks?

We’re not talking incel in the literal sense of a guy not getting laid, but incel in that a guy has to settle for leagues below him just because he’s average but not ABOVE average

And this tbh for most incels. You really think the typical western girl with no personality wants a guy with no personality?

Put yourself in the shoes of a typical boring sloot. What guy do you think they’ll go crazy over? What type of guy would have you taking off your panties?

- a guy that makes them feel safe
- a guy who knows how to have fun and has interesting hobbies
- a who makes them laugh and has an entertaining self amusing personality

So why would a woman want an overly timid guy who takes himself too seriously and makes her feel uncomfortable?

Like many have said here most incels are narcissists who think they deserve the best but with no work done on themselves. Literally the female equivalent of the sub 5 overweight women who call every guy who isn’t CBum an incel.

The only difference is the woman equivalent goes unchecked in the dating market. They date guys who have all the things I listed but it’s not enough for them. They will never be satisfied and will be single for the rest of their lives just like the incel. But if the average guy working on himself like the one listed above complains about them, he’s lumped in with the incels..
