Isn't it curious that we are more similar to Romans than to the Medieval citizens?

Impressive how things turned into complete **** after the Roman/Bizantine empire.

The way of thinking, fear of religion, hygiene habits, exercise habits, infrastructures, weapons, ... everything was better in the 100s AD than in the 1100s AD.

Rome figured out civilization that’s why the elites still worship Rome and try to recreate it avoiding their mistakes.

That happened until the early 1900’s man. Sanitation is fairly new tech. See New York during the 1800s where fatigued horses were left to rot in the street.

New York shouldve banned horses like Julius Cesar did. Lacking.
