Desantis wont run if Trump runs. No one but Cheney and a few like her will. Beter chance of a Trump Desantis 2024 than a Trump vs Desantis 2024.

If it's Trump vs DeSantis in a GOP primary, then DeSantis.

Sorry Trump. You served your purpose and wont be forgotten, but its time to move on.

Trump should run for House or Senate though. Time to make waves in Congress.

I think everyone is waiting to see if Trump announces. If he does, many will bow out. You’ll see some RINOs though for sure.

I'd rather have the opportunity for 8 years of DeSantis vs. 4 years of Trump. Trump would go in as a lame duck president, so I choose Ron.

Trump did what I wanted with SCOTUS picks. A great economy was icing on the cake. He was obstructed by RINOs and the left his entire term and there is no reason to believe it won't be the case again. He's thin-skinned and unable to not respond to every attack.

I’m honestly not sure so I’m asking would any other prominent politicians or celebrities make the republican primary race?

I think which one desantis or Trump whichever one wins, should choose the other as their running mate?

Rand Paul
WWE Superstar Kane
Ted Cruz
Alan Keyes
Marjorie Greene?
Mike Pence
Sean Hannity

Any of them?

No one with a serious hope will run against Trump in the primary. I expect some never-Trumpers to run so they can force Trump to spend his money, and attack him enough to hope to do enough damage in the primary that he loses the general. So Probably Romney, Someone named Bush, Murkowski, Kasich, Cheney, etc.
These same people might also make a Third party run after losing in hopes of getting attention and splitting the vote.

If DeSantis is seriously worried about getting beat by Donald Trump (LOL) then he's probably not the right guy for the job anyways.

I see Trump announcing he's going to run with Desantis as his VP.

Then after 4 years of Trump/Desantis, then Desantis runs for president

I'd prefer DeSantis but he won't run if Trump does.

Also check out this video to see that some black people are waking up and realising Trump was alright

Why do people keep saying Desantis has no charisma? Because he's not some barking, carnival clown like Trump?

You dont make it to the top of the food chain like he has if you have no charisma

Anyone other than Biden or any woke Democrat for that matter. I'm sick of this wokeness that is plaguing our society. It seems like a competition at this point to see who can beat out the other.

Desantis is on tv all the time which is not a coincidence. Its positioning on his part.

Trump really hasnt been seen much other than some golfing videos.

Hard to say but I wouldn't mind if DeSantis remained governor of Florida for another term. Enjoyed reading about the Florida governors latest idea to help fight back against the lefts ESG.

Former President Trump appears to have rejuvenated his popularity due I believe in large part to the Democrats kangaroo court Jan 6th show trial. From what I'm reading right now no other GOP candidate is as popular as Trump has become.

Ron DeSantis Puts ‘Woke Banking’ On Notice That Political Discrimination Won’t Be Tolerated
DeSantis wants to stop wealthy institutions from colluding together to decide which products and services are available to consumers.

https://thefederalist.com/2022/08/08...-be-tolerated/

excerpt:

hen Gov. Ron DeSantis announced last week that Florida would be cracking down on “woke” banking and other corporations, PayPal reacted immediately by unfreezing money in the account of the conservative group Moms for Liberty.

A month prior, when DeSantis spoke at the group’s summit in July, PayPal stopped processing their monthly donors and would not let them transfer out any money already in their account. The action was presumably tied to the organization’s ideological views.

Instances just like this one are why DeSantis is working hand in hand with Republican state policymakers to stop the rise of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. It’s a move that, if successful, would go a long way toward preserving individual liberty and advancing free markets.....
